Meet the Doctor, Dr. Jose Cordova
Dr. Cordova's academic background includes an impressive array of degrees he has earned from very well-regarded educational institutions. In 1989, Dr. Cordova earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Indiana University. He then proceeded to continue his education at the National College of Chiropractic and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic. As a practicing Chiropractor, Dr. Cordova has continued his education by attending many professional educational seminars and conferences to maintain updates on advances and innovations made in patient care.
Dr. Cordova's experience is unique in that he has the advantage of treating patients both in medical and chiropractic practices. Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Dr. Cordova practiced in several aspects of patient care such as surgery, intensive care, cardiovascular care, and home health. Since graduation as a Chiropractor, Dr. Cordova has practiced in the Chicago-land area, and has treated a wide variety of patient conditions. Therefore, providing patients with a wholistic approach to patient care.
Dr. Cordova bases his treatments upon a foundation of diagnostic information gathered through patient history, physical examination, X-rays, and further clinical testing if indicated. Dr. Cordova offers low force adjustments designed for elderly and paediatric health problems as well as traditional diversified techniques, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, nutritional counseling, and stress reduction.
Dr. Cordova grew up in the Calumet Region and moved to Illinois to complete his education and begin his profession as a Chiropractor. Presently he practices in the area he was originally raised, and has opened his own practice known as Community Chiropractic Clinic.
